Crayon Art

Yay for melting crayons on canvas with a hair dryer! I shared a tutorial for a kids abstract art project over on the MHCM blog today. I would like to try this again with colors that suit my style better. I'm thinking mostly whites, then some peach, seafoam green, aqua, and maybe a hint of silver. Anyway, check out the tutorial if you'd like! (There are tons of others on Pinterest too).  Now, to get the smell of melted crayons out of the house, I'll be baking some fall flavors granola.

    1. Thanks! It's really quick and easy- Instant gratification! The wax does splash a little but if you aim down you won't have to worry about it much. Send me a pic if you try it :)

    1. Thanks, Carrie. I think next time I might use tape as a resist and make some patterns!
