end of summer hiking

This week both my indoor stationary bike and mountain bike decided to die on me. So it's been a lot of yoga, hiking, and some silly exercise vids to get my heart pumpin'. But, I haven't wasted any time and already got my hands on a basically new bike that I will be buying from a co-worker. Feeling good about a late afternoon hike planned for today with friends followed by Indian Buffet <3 br="">

these moments

I've been thinking about this little forgotten blog of mine and was feeling sorry for it. I scrolled through and was reminded of small, simple moments of my daily life and also big amazing adventures. both beautiful. I know the internet is saturated with this stuff, but these are my moments. and so .. the collection of the 2 here will continue on.

Halloween Eve

If you've seen my recent posts you can probably see I have been having a very outdoorsy Autumn, which is just how I like it.  Tomorrow is Halloween! For the last few years my costume has just been to wear something that feels Halloween to me. Usually that is all black, with lots of textures like lace or velvet, and either a spooky/romantic mask or headpiece. This year I'll be wearing a cute cat mask that has whiskers on it, a lacey black dress, some dark red lips, and a jacket that is yet to be determined. What are you going as for Halloween?

fall adventures

It's been a while since I have posted anything on here, I have been busy with a renovation John and I are working on. We have been spending as much time as we can hiking and taking little adventures before Winter is here. Though we will probably bundle and spend much time outside year long. These photos are from a short hike we took in Rockland to 'the tunnels'. The project we are working on is almost done and then I will be posting here more often. I have lots of Autumn photos to share!

Summer's End

Getting in as many bike rides, campfires, garden veggies, and nights spent star gazing as possible.We are continuing our travels with a short trip to Vermont tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing my dad, exploring some new places, and riding the pine hill mountain bike trails!
