Be Positive

Today started off great. I woke up early to a facetime call from John, made an avocado/banana/blueberry smoothie (use avocado in smoothies, it was amazing), and you know, dissected an owl pellet at work. But then the rest of the work day totally sucked.  + I'm missing John a lot because he hurt his foot and has been away all week. So I'm feeling a little blue. Looking through my beach photos has semi cheered me up. I am attempting to be really positive for the rest of the night and my long work day tomorrow, starting now!

Locust Grove

John scooped me up from work the other day and we went right to Locust Grove, a little gem for us in this city. There is a small cottage on the property that I decided I want to live in. It's the perfect tiny cozy little thing surrounded by acres of gardens and hiking trails that overlook the Hudson river. Too bad it's a historic estate and museum so that wont quite work out for me. I'll just have to keep having photo shoots in the garden then.

Po-Town Sky

The crows in Poughkeepsie are insane. I only caught a few in these photos but there were thousands of them everywhere!

autumn sunset picnic

our shoes may have gotten very muddy on the way out to this field but it's just such a pretty spot, so it was worth it! I wanted to take some tea party/fancy bear photos to show off my teddy's bow tie. It was a fun sunday evening adventure!
