Brothers

I'm still here! I know this blog is very inconsistent... I've just moved and started  a new job so am trying to find time for all things I like to do and have to do. I do like to share photos and words on here very much. Mostly for myself  to look back on but I do hope anyone scrolling through enjoys it as well.

These boys are my favorite. My love and his little brother. John has always loved to take care of his baby bro. It's very sweet. They definitely have those times when they bicker and argue like animals too, but that's expected of siblings, right?  Anyway, these photos are from Nike Park in Clausland Mountain. There recently had been a fire there so we went up to check out the damage. It wasn't as bad as we had expected, though it was freezing cold so we didn't explore for that long.

Thankful for Some Things

 Very thankful that I have someone special to go on short but sweet adventures with. We are slowly planning what will be our  real deal big adventure but that is all I can say about that for now. These photos are from a few days ago at Springside - a nice little wooded area a few blocks from our apt. We collected some nice pine branches to use for different projects and decorations around the house, one being a Thanksgiving center piece! Hope everyone had a warm and loving T-Giving.

Camping

John and I went camping for the first time together! It was actually my first time camping all together, unless you count friends' yards in high school.  We had a fire and heard some spooky noises and awesome owl hoots. When we were starting the fire, we saw something move near the ground, so I shined the flashlight and there was a fat little toad on John's foot. That was my favorite part of camping. That and sleepy morning stretches in my sports bra in the middle of nowhere. We will definitely be camping again soon before it gets too cold!

Feeling Playful

I love the little things one might over look in a day. Like waking up early and actually having enough time to make a choc/pb/banana smoothie before work. Or going out after dinner to play in the woods with John. You'll have to excuse the less frequent posts, it's getting hard for me to be on the internet when it's so nice outside!
