vintage cardigans - a shop update

Cardigan weather is coming up! added some pretty ones to the shop today and will be adding more tomorrow too. I also just created a tumblr so I can post my shop updates and such over there. I don't really know how to use it yet , give me some tips and follow me !

Egyptian Vintage

Here I am just playing dress up with this very unique skirt my mom got in Egypt when she was around my age. I  feel like the bottom kinda looks like the skirt of a couch... in kind of a cool way. Not feeling gutsy enough to wear it out yet, so for now I'll just take fuzzy photo booth pics in it at home.  If anyone has any tips for styling this, please share!

DIY collar accesory thing!

This detachable collar thing was super easy and fun to make! I used a shirt that I've had for a while but is too big on me so I never wear it. I cut the collar off the shirt making sure to cut along the hem so it wouldn't fray. Then I ironed it so it would have a nice crease. The shirt I was using had some pretty lace on it, so I cut the lace off and hot glued it to the collar! Done! The collar could be embellished in a ton of different ways. Sequins, beads, fabric paint, embroidery, buttons.. whatever you please!

lace and waves

You could say this is my version of a "What I Wore" post. You get just a peak. I felt just peachy in this lacey/ruffle top at work today. It is such a lovely blush pink color! I've been feeling like dressing up lately- maybe more outfit inspired posts to come!
