only in my dreams

some more photos from a day playing outdoors when we were in VT. There was a big sun shower after we took these pictures, like down pouringgg but bright shining sun. It was really pretty and made everything smell sweet.

If you haven't, please stop by  The Fancy Bear Vintage's Tumblr for my vintage shop updates and occasional outfit of the day pics!

more Rutland

I've decided that Rutland is a pretty rotten place, but things are pretty peaceful out in the yard.

Summer's End

Getting in as many bike rides, campfires, garden veggies, and nights spent star gazing as possible. We are continuing our travels with a short trip to Vermont tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing my dad, exploring some new places, and riding the pine hill mountain bike trails!

Floral Crown Fun

I had a lot of fun making this floral crown the other night! I mostly followed Bonnie's DIY but also kinda just wrapped flower wire all over the place until it seemed secure. I decided to go with these blue hydrangea silk flowers to bring out my blue eyes. Can't wait to wear this out for a special occasion or even just for everyday. It makes me feel all pretty and girly. I think I'm going to make one with black flowers for a spooky Halloween look!

Recently

A peek into my life recently. Cozy places, BBQ's, gardening, & bee saving. Yep, I saved that bee's life. I Found him floating in someone's iced tea at our Memorial day bbq. I scooped him out, he appeared dead but came back to life after a few minutes and flew away. Just a little thing I feel good about.

Saturday, in the Park

Yesterday was the perfect spring day. We woke up, watched this in bed and loved it. Then we tried to figure out what "I beez in the trap" meant with no success, and then headed in to town. After helping clean up the park for a friend's volunteer program, we walked to Lola's for lunch. We had delicious black bean burgers and eggplant paninis. Sorry if you're getting bored of the flowering tree pictures, but I'm not bored of taking them yet!
