Spring Hike

Last weekend we took our first spring hike (which totally kicked my butt) up to Mount Beacon. It's only about a mile up but a very steep one with a lot of rock scrambles and a few flights of steel stairs in the beginning. At the top are the remains of some structures and the ruins of Beacon's incline railway which was destroyed in a fire in 1983. Then there's also the amazing view of the Hudson and Catskills and even NYC on a clear day. After hiking back down we got some Bibimbap at a little Korean place Seol in Beacon which was awesome. More hiking and eating to come.

In the mean time, I'm trying to sell a lot of my things! Shop my closet through my Threadflip ! (if it seems a little pricey that's because SHIPPING IS INCLUDED!) And as always, my etsy store for vintage and handmade goods.

This Week So Far

I know it's only a Wednesday, but it feels like this week is almost over for some reason. It's been mostly work, walking, and crafting for me so far.  The top picture is a butterfly mobile I made for the museum! And the bottom one is of some Popsicle sticks that I assembled for a craft at the museum, then I realized they kinda resembled a chevron pattern! Neat. Now I am roasting some cauliflower so I better go check on that. Have a good week!

Saturday, in the Park

Yesterday was the perfect spring day. We woke up, watched this in bed and loved it. Then we tried to figure out what "I beez in the trap" meant with no success, and then headed in to town. After helping clean up the park for a friend's volunteer program, we walked to Lola's for lunch. We had delicious black bean burgers and eggplant paninis. Sorry if you're getting bored of the flowering tree pictures, but I'm not bored of taking them yet!

Flowers and Waffles

Most of my weekend was spent being outside doing yard work and gardening! The rest of it was spent eating delicious food, watching movies, walkway over the Hudson, and making terrariums. What did you do this weekend?

Periwinkle

I'm loving this blue - periwinkle color lately. It's a great color for spring. The shoes are from H&M (birthday gift card, thanks mom!) and they have really cute lacey-laces! What are your favorite spring colors?
